Emergency Supplies Needed to Support Firefighters in White River.
We are collecting emergency supplies to send a load of support to the Firefighters in White River. The load will leave PFUMC upper parking lot at 13 noon today, Friday 9/13.
Items needed:
Gatorade
Bread
Sandwich meat
Zip top bags
If you can quickly bring items to church, please do so.
Financial donations will also be accepted at the church or on Sunday.
We had 2 crews take food supplies to White River - first crew is on the way back and the 2nd one should be arriving soon. Thank you everyone for your support. Please keep the firefighters and everyone associated with the fire in your prayers.

Wednesdays 7:00 – 8:30 PM for 6th – 12th Grade Youth
Wednesday Evening Youth Group will begin on Wednesday 9/4 @ 7:00 - 8:30 PM at Lariat Lanes for a Bowling & Pizza Youth Group Kick Off Party. Invite a friend to join! All costs for bowling, shoes, pizza, and sodas will be covered!

TOMORROW (Wednesday, September 4) is a BIG DAY at Pierre First UMC! We are eagerly preparing to welcome children, youth, and families back for our Fall 2024 Discipleship Programming!
First Wednesday Family Dinner ~ NEW THIS YEAR!
The FIRST Wednesday of each month, Pierre 1st UMC will provide a family meal for families involved in Wednesday afternoon & evening ministries. Simply plan for the whole family to come and eat so that you don’t have to cook or clean up! We will take care of everything! It is our gift to the families of the congregation and an opportunity for families to have fellowship and kids to connect. Mark your calendars for our FIRST First PFUMC Family Dinner Night on September 4th. Dinner will be ready at 5:15 and will be served until 6:00PM.
Journey Wednesday Elementary Afterschool Ministry
Wednesdays 3:00 – 5:15 for PreK (5 years old in preschool) - 5th grade.
Trinity Community Center (TCC)
Kids will gather in Trinity Community Center (TCC) afterschool for snacks, games, and crafts. There will be a time of singing, bible story, and songs before kids break into grade level age groups at about 4:00 PM for a deep dive into the Bible lesson using Deep Blue curriculum.
Voyage MS Afterschool Ministry
Wednesdays 3:00 – 5:15 for MS (6th & 7th grade)
Trinity Community Center (TCC)
On Wednesday afternoons, immediately after school until 5:15, 6th & 7th graders are invited to Voyage, a special ministry designed just for Middle Schoolers. We will meet in the Youth Room (on the lower level of the church) and delve into the Be Bold! curriculum designed for this age group. In addition to faith-based conversations and games, there will be opportunities for service projects as a group either in the church or out in the community.
